Annaatthe (transl. Big Sibling) is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language activity film[3] composed and coordinated by Siva and delivered by Kalanithi Maran under the standard of Sun Pictures. The film stars Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh and Nayanthara in principle lead jobs while Jagapathi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh and Soori in supporting roles.[4] The music for the film is made by D. Imman while cinematography and altering are performed by Vetri and Ruben respectively.[5] The film spins around the relationship of Kaalaiyan (Rajinikanth), a town president and his kin, Thanga Meenatchi (Keerthy).

The film was authoritatively reported in October 2019, denoting Rajinikanth's first coordinated effort with Siva. Head photography for the film started on 11 December 2019, just before the entertainer's birthday, and was finished inside September 2021.[6] The shooting system continued for one-and-a-half years, because of the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown in India and Rajinikanth's medical problems in late-December 2020, postponed the film's creation. The film was shot basically in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, with few successions took shots at Chennai.[6] 

The film delivered on 4 November 2021, on the event of Diwali. Regardless of the film getting negative audits from pundits, it was a business achievement netting 239 crores becoming one of the greatest earning Tamil films.[7]
